Nigerian National Arrested by ICE in Los Angeles Over Prior Sexual Offence Convictions

A 53-year-old Nigerian man has been taken into custody in Los Angeles by Immigration and Customs Enforcement following previous convictions linked to sexual offences.

The agency’s Enforcement and Removal Operations office in Los Angeles confirmed the arrest on Friday through a post on X, stating that Olatunde Olusanjo was arrested on April 21.

According to ICE, “Olusanjo has previous arrests for child molestation, sexual battery and soliciting lewd conduct. He is in ICE custody pending removal.”

The agency also released a video showing Olusanjo being escorted in handcuffs from an ICE vehicle.

In the narration of the footage, he was identified as a Nigerian citizen and referred to as a “criminal illegal alien and convicted sex offender.”

“Los Angeles ICE arrested criminal illegal alien and convicted sex offender Olatunde Abiodun Olusanjo on April 21, 2026, a citizen of Nigeria,” the narrator said.

It added that “Olusanjo’s criminal record includes child molestation, sexual battery, and sexual solicitation.”

He remains in ICE custody as removal proceedings continue.
