This Is Why Majority Of Christians Are Not Bothered About The Mark Of The Beast -By Joe Dauda
And, of all the Ten Commandments, the only two that have been tampered with have everything to do with worship. As you can see in Daniel 7:25, it wasn’t God that tampered with His Ten Commandments. It was the beast that tampered with the Ten Commandments . The fact that the two commandments he tampered with both have to do with worship proves that the purpose of the tampering was to deceive the people of God into false and vain worship, which Satan will gladly accept. And God says whoever worships the beast (whoever does not worship according to the commandments of God but according to the commandments of men) will be destroyed by fire and brimstone. That’s Revelation 14:9.
The reason why majority of Christians are not bothered about the mark of the beast is because they have been convinced to believe that the rapture will take place before the Antichrist is revealed. Meanwhile, the Bible says the exact opposite: this is why majority of people (even Christians) will worship the beast. Some will do it because, lacking the faith of Elijah who trusted God to feed him supernaturally and wanting to be able to use the financial system of the beast to buy and sell, they will capitulate just to be able to survive. But others will worship the beast because they were deceived. You have a right to worship the beast since you have freedom of choice given to you by God Himself. My concern is for those who want to worship God and not the beast. The danger is that if you don’t understand the prophecies, you will be deceived.
The same Daniel that prophesied about the beast said only the wise shall understand (Daniel 12:10) and Jesus Christ referred to the prophecy of Daniel and said anyone who reads should understand; Matthew 24:15.
The Bible says Satan deceiveth the whole world. And the purpose of this series is to ensure that you know the truth so as not to fall for the greatest deception in modern Christianity, which is the teaching that the rapture will take place before the Antichrist is revealed. As long as you believe that, you can be looking at the Antichrist face to face while still saying that the Antichrist cannot be revealed because the rapture has not taken place. And this is the condition of majority of Christians. It is the Antichrist (the beast of Revelation 13) that has succeeded in deceiving Christians that they need not bother about the issue since they will be raptured and not even be around when the reign of the Antichrist begins. Remember that everything is about worship. God desires to be worshipped: but He is qualified. Satan, on the other hand, deceives people in order to steal the worship God alone deserves because Satan, being a creature, does not deserve worship.
Not many Christians are aware that it is possible to worship in vain. But that very fact is clearly stated in the Bible; and it was stated by the Master Himself.
Matthew 15:9
“But in vain they do worship me teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.”
Note the key words in this powerful verse, namely worship, doctrines, and commandments.
As you can see, Jesus Christ connected false/vain worship with the commandments of men, showing that true worship is based on the commandments of God. The worship God seeks is worship in spirit and in truth: John 4:24. That truth is the commandment of God. It is the only basis for the doctrine of worship. Any worship not based on the truth of the commandment of God is vain worship. Of course you may be sincere; but God cannot accept worship based on the commandments of men. He is a king and not just a king but the King of the Universe. He has the right to prescribe how He wants to be worshipped. Except you are very poor or a slave, you have the right to choose what you want to eat, don’t you? You feel you are entitled to eat what pleases you, don’t you? Well, God does not eat food: what He desires from us is worship: Psalm 50:10-14. And doesn’t He have the right to prescribe how He wants to be worshipped? But don’t forget that Jesus Christ said there is such a thing as vain worship. It means useless worship. False worship. Satan worship. Idolatry. Why? Because such worship is based on the commandments of men. Note the word, commandments. If vain worship is based on the commandments of men (on behalf of Satan) it follows that true worship must be based on the commandments of God. It’s that simple.
Of the Ten Commandments of God, only two directly pertain to worship. The first commandment that says thou shalt have no other gods simply says thou shalt have no other gods. This is a matter of the heart and it is difficult to prove who you consider as your God except you say so. But the second commandment is easier to judge. In this commandment, God clearly states that we should not bow down to graven images. The Bible says no man has seen God. But even if a man has seen God and is able to mould or paint an image that looks like God, that image is still a graven image and we are commanded not to worship it. Anybody bowing down to any image (sculpture or picture or painting or whatever) of any being or even supposedly of Jesus Christ, is offending God because God is invisible to the human eye and too exalted to be represented by images.
Another commandment that directly relates to worship is the fourth commandment, which commands the people of God to identify God as the creator of the universe by keeping the seventh day holy, based on the fact that God created the world in six days and rested on the seventh day: Exodus 20:8-11. If you want to understand the gravity of the 4th commandment, it is easy. Just check Exodus 20:8-11 and see the reason why God commanded His people to keep the seventh-day of every week holy; to rest on that day; to cease from their usual mundane activities. What did you see there? The reason for the 4th commandment is because God created this world. In other words, this world did not just evolve out of a so-called big bang, as some misguided scientists would like us to believe. Keeping the Sabbath day is a token of faith in the creation of the world by God. When you work for six days and stop on the seventh according to the commandment of, you are honoring God because that idea is His. He was the One that chose to create the world in six days and add an extra day—not for creation but for rest. That is the only reason why we have a seven-day week. It is only because God created the world in six days and rested on the seventh day.
Is it any wonder that, of all the Ten Commandments, only the two commandments that pertain to worship are subjects of controversy in the whole of Christendom?
Have you ever wondered why?
There are Christians today who agree that stealing or bearing false witness, or committing adultery, are all sins. This belief is based on the Ten Commandments. But they will come up with wonderful theories when it comes to the two commandments relating to the worship of God—the commandment forbidding image worship, and the commandment about keeping the seventh day holy.
Child of God, put on your thinking cap. All Christians agree on the validity of the other commandments but there is controversy over the second commandment (about bowing down to images) and the fourth commandment, which is about the day of worship.
Remember the word worship and remember the warning about worshiping the beast in Revelation 14:9-11. This is the most serious warning in the Bible. If you worship God correctly, you are not likely to worship the beast. If, on the other hand, you do not worship God based on His commandments, how are you sure you are not worshipping in vain and preparing yourself to worship the beast in these last days? Simply because vain worship is popular does not mean God will accept it. Elijah alone worshipped the true God at some point in the history of Israel; Noah alone (with his family) obeyed God at some point in the history of this world; Lot alone (with his two daughters) experienced salvation from the fires of Sodom and Gomorrah. The majority has never followed God: it has always been a small minority—even in Israel! Please don’t allow emotional comfort or emotional discomfort make you miss this message.
In Revelation 13:8, the Bible says all that dwell upon the earth shall worship the beast. This is because those that will not worship the beast will be so few. So you can choose to go along with the majority or study this issue seriously.
Ask yourself why there is controversy about the second commandment. The Roman Catholic Church even deleted that commandment from their catechism booklet, which is the manual for teaching Catholics the doctrines of the church. It is easy to see why the Roman Catholic Church will not want its members to know about the second commandment forbidding image worship. We all know the reason because a typical Catholic Church contains images. As for the fourth commandment, majority of Christians have been deceived to believe that it has been changed, or that even the whole Ten Commandments have been nailed to the cross. How unfortunate.
If people will take responsibility for the salvation of their souls and just read the Bible, they will be able to detect the lies mixed with the truth they are often told. The Bible says in Revelation 22:14, Blessed are they that do His commandments that they may have right to the tree of life and enter into the New Jerusalem. Commandments. You cannot relate with God and spit on His commandments.
The only two commandments over which there is controversy in the Christian world both have to do with worship. If you forget anything, please don’t forget that. Since Satan could not destroy the Bible, don’t you think he will find a way to convince Christians to ignore the commandments of God, so he can then deceive them to worship him? Has Satan brought in this confusion so that he will get majority of Christians to worship him by worshipping the beast? Is it not safer to worship God based on His own commandments? But that is essentially what Jesus Christ said in Matthew 15:9 because He said the people worshipping based on the commandments of men (and not of God) were worshiping in vain. Do you want to worship in vain? If not find out which of the Ten Commandments have anything to do with worship and ask God to guide you into all truth.
As you study the root of this problem, I pray that God will fill you with the Holy Spirit and remove every form of doubt and confusion from your mind over this issue and give you the courage to follow the narrow path, which the majority will find inconvenient.
May God bless you.
Don’t forget that God did not change his law. In fact it is the beast that attempts to change God’s laws. Did you know that? In the Book of Daniel, this beast is referred to as the little horn.
Daniel 7:25
“And he shall think to change times and laws. . . “
