The White House says it is considering Pakistan as the venue for a second round of talks with Iran, expressing confidence in the chances of reaching a deal.
Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt disclosed this on Wednesday, noting that discussions are already underway.
“Those discussions are being had” and “we feel good about the prospects of a deal,” she said.
According to her, any follow-up meeting “would very likely” take place in Islamabad.
