Four Ogun Student Leaders Remanded Over Alleged Assault and Property Damage
An Ogun State Magistrate Court remands four student leaders over assault, harassment, and property destruction charges, while bail is set at ₦1 million each pending further hearing on April 13, 2026.
Four student leaders were remanded by an Ogun State Magistrate Court in Isabo, Abeokuta, on Tuesday over allegations of assault, harassment, and destruction of property.
The defendants include Hezakiah Adelola (General Secretary of NANS Ogun State Chapter), Kamil Iseoluwa, Ibikunle Idris, and Folorusho Jacob Olugbenga. They face a seven-count charge covering conspiracy, assault, harassment, and damage to property.
According to the charges, the students allegedly harassed Kehinde Tejuosho and Lekan Olubodun and destroyed property valued at millions of naira on separate occasions.
All the defendants pleaded not guilty when the charges were read. Magistrate M.K. Araba granted each bail of ₦1 million, but ordered them remanded at the Oba Correctional Centre pending the completion of bail formalities.
The court adjourned the case to April 13, 2026, for further proceedings.
