Following the approval of the Oyo State governor engineer Seyi Makinde on the Standard Operating Procedure of the Oyo State Security Network Agency and Amotekun Corps, the management team of the Agency has decided to let not the Standard Operating Procedures approved for the Oyo State Amotekun operatives sees the light of the day. Thee flaws that make the practice of the Oyo State Security Network Agency and Amotekun Corps unprofessional which make the state own security outfit differ discrepancy from the Ondo State Security Network Agency and Amotekun Corps practice where professional practices are being followed, even Chief Adetunji Adeleye the Ondo State Amotekun Corps commander confirmed this professional practices in a statement that “the Ondo State Amotekun is ready for State Police” when he briefly stated that all departments are in place and the Agency is strictly operates professionally, when compare to other South West States, especially Oyo State, where the Amotekun state commandant can not state Agency levels of readiness toward the State Police.

The Oyo State Security Network Agency and Amotekun Corps is seriously, as matter of urgency, needs experts that shall implement the approved Standard Operating Procedures of his Excellency Engineer Seyi Makinde for professional administration of the Oyo State Security Network Agency and Amotekun Corps.

It is obvious fact that, despite the governor’s approval of the Standard Operating Procedures for the Oyo State Security Network Agency and Amotekun Corps, the administration is getting worst, simply because following unprofessional practices in the Agency.

The failure of the Oyo State Amotekun board of governance and the management team to make use of the approved Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), reluctantly submitted to the Oyo State government in 2023, still indicate that the Agency lack Standard Operation Procedures, which is highly imperative whenever professional practice is being discussed. It is highly dismay that the Oyo State Amotekun board of governance chairman and his members are being played upon by the king Pharaoh of the Oyo State Amotekun Corps, Col. (rtd) Bisiriyu  Olayinka Olayanju, has he had successfully done with the pioneer board chairman, Gen. (rted) Kunle Toogun.

Putting the approved Standard Operation Procedures of the Agency under carpet by Col. (rtd) Bisiriyu Olayinka Olayanju, deprives the Oyo State Amotekun operatives ranks and grades structure as it contained in section 8 (f) of the Oyo State Security Network Agency law 2020. The Oyo State Amotekun commander Col. (rted) Bisiriyu Olayinka Olayanju, in order to cover up his administrative shame had lied to the general public during the coronation of the deceased Olubadan in 2022, that the Oyo State Amotekun operatives are ranked white belts and black belts. (https://oyoinsight.com/olubadan-coronation-how-amotekun-assisted-in-ensuring-security-of-lives-and-property/) The aspirations for new cadets to grow from rank and file has never been created by the Agency. This eronous mistake of the Oyo State Amotekun Corps commandant in an attempt to debunk the fact that Oyo State Amotekun operatives are not rank or grade.

Likewise, any attempt to implement the approved Standard Operation Procedures in the Oyo State Security Network Agency and Amotekun Corps, the implementation by default, shall fulfill section 4 of the Oyo State Security Network Agency law 2020, by creating several departments in the Agency and also enable the Oyo State Amotekun board of governance to create more departments as recommended in section 4 (vi) of the Oyo State Security Network Agency law 2020, so as to bring about professional practice to the administration of the Agency.

The approved Standard Operation Procedures by his Excellency Engineer Seyi Makinde, also recommend time to time training for the officers and sub-officers cader. The Standard Operation Procedures shall eliminate the era of lack of training for the Oyo State Amotekun operatives, and fulfill section 8 (d) and 15 (e) of the Oyo State Security Network Agency law 2020.

The Oyo State Amotekun operatives need fervent prayer because there is fortune and future destroyer between the Oyo State Amotekun operatives and the Oyo State governor, his Excellency Engineer Seyi Makinde. The destiny waster is known to the Oyo State government, the Oyo State Amotekun board of governance and the management team, even the destiny destroyer for the Oyo State Amotekun operatives knows himself.

Sir, your Excellency, the executive governor of our dearest state, engineer Seyi Makinde Abiodun, let the mandate be given to the Oyo State Amotekun board of governance on the immediate use of the approved Standard Operation Procedures so as to bring professional practice to the administration of the Oyo State Security Network Agency and Amotekun Corps. The implementation of the approved Standard Operation Procedures for the Oyo State Amotekun operatives shall also make the Oyo State Security Network Agency law 2020 be put to use for professional practice in the Agency.
