Donald Trump has warned Iran not to levy charges on ships moving through the Strait of Hormuz, amid reports of new fees after Tehran agreed to reopen the vital route as part of a temporary ceasefire.

“There are reports that Iran is charging fees to tankers going through the Hormuz Strait — They better not be and, if they are, they better stop now!” Trump wrote on Truth Social.

Shortly after, he posted again, saying “very quickly, you’ll see Oil start flowing, with or without the help of Iran.”
