If you are a driver, drive well, if your car will only consume 9 people ensure that you carry only 9 people and make sure that the papers of your car are intact and active to avoid being embarrassed with such action it will be awkward for a security personnel to stop you and ask for ransom if they still do you have the right to report the matter.

A security personnel is an individual responsible for maintaining safety and order in a places like office, house, event, or community. They monitor, report, and respond to incidents immediately ensuring that netizens are out of hazardous occurrences. this article focuses on how the Nigerian security personnels collects ransom from drivers on roads in exchange to improper loads.

Security personnels should remember their obligations collecting ransom from the poor masses who are already struggling to survive from the hardship of this country is illegal, the former Nigerian minister of defense General Christopher Musa(retd) characterized security personnels that engaged themselves in bribe as betrayers. Emphaty matters if you cannot depend on your monthly salary then start up a business by such you will have a source of income that will help you and your family.

Collecting ransom from the public is now seen as normal it hurts when ever am on a transit and see a security personnel asking driver for a ransom we keep shouting that Nigeria is corrupt, using vulgar words against the politicians why? Most of the securities abused politicians day and night that they are doing nothing but prioritizing corruption in their offices, if so, ask yourself Yes you the reader as a security personnel are you safe? Corruption is being practice even in the local levels one person cannot change it meditate and ask yourself today as a military officer are you corrupt or not.

82 Division of the Nigerian army has urged the public to decist from giving bribe in any security check points but the public are forced to cooperate this has to stop. A driver should be punish if found guilty using illegal techniques such as collecting ransom in exchange will only help in escalating corruption in our country Nigeria as a security personnel you are a public figure, people respect you and respect your uniform so strive to serve and maintain your dignity and the dignity of your uniform.

Way forward I call on the security personnels to be contented with what they have and have emphaty on the masses, the little ransom you collect from people daily will not help you the two religion we practiced Christianity and Islam taught us to fear God and reminds us that there’s life after this world so live right. The security personnels and every other individual should practice what is being practice in the fourth pillar of democracy which is the media (journalism) truthfulness, fairness, objectivity, accuracy and credibility in serving the community.
