Primate Ayodele And His Banal Religious Denigration -By Danjuma Lamido

This is the time our prophets should preach and work for the unity and stability of Nigeria, for the holy bible warns against false prophecies or prophets speaking out of their minds under the guise of prophesying.

“Don’t ever prophesy, for if you prophesy wrong, nobody will forget it, and if you prophesy right, nobody will remember it.” – Josh Billings
In an interview titled “God has revealed three persons who can stop Tinubu in 2027—Primate Ayodele” with SUNDAY TRIBUNE, Primate Ayodele of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Lagos, shares his revelations concerning Nigeria’s security challenges, where he said, “The IGP must be replaced.”

Several Bible verses warn against false prophets. Matthew 7:15-16 states, “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves. You will recognise them by their fruit.”

Other verses, like Deuteronomy 13:1 – 3, caution against prophets who perform signs and wonders to lead people astray from God.

Ezekiel 13:1-9 directly addresses false prophets and their deceptive practices, including false visions and the spreading of lies.

1 John 4:1:

“Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.” This verse urges believers to examine the messages and doctrines of any spiritual leaders to ensure they are aligned with God’s word.

The constant prophesying of disaster by Primate Ayodele is, to say the least, ungodly, against the doctrines of Christianity and unacceptable tenets of humanity.

As men of God are known to always preach peace, unity, love, and happiness, I wonder how a man of God could foresee disastrous occurrences and warn of gunfire.

I acknowledge that he has made predictions in the past, but I expected him to passionately pray against such events when they were revealed to him; anything to the contrary is aberrant and sinful.

From the presentation and analysis of the prophecy in question, it is clear that it is a personally motivated opinion by a man of god.

It is even condemnable for a prophet like Primate Ayodele to be tarnishing the glorious image of Christianity in the nation. You hardly see the Muslim clerics descend to this banal religious denigration and manipulation.

This brings me to the word of God in Jeremiah 23:16. “Thus saith the Lord of hosts, hearken not unto the words of the prophets that prophesy unto you. They lead you unto vanity. They speak a vision of their own heart and not out of the mouth of the Lord.

The best thing to have ever happened to the Nigeria Police Force was the appointment of IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun as the 22nd Indigenous Inspector General of Police on 19th Jun 2023.

In confronting the worsening security situation in the country, Inspector General of Police IGP Kayode Egbetokun, on 17th January 2024, inaugurated the Special Intervention Squad.

The establishment of the Force Insurance Company marks a significant step in the NPF’s commitment to the well-being of its members. The newly formed insurance company will provide comprehensive coverage for police officers, offering benefits that include health insurance, life insurance, and various other financial protection plans tailored to meet the specific needs of law enforcement personnel.

Under the leadership of IG Egbetokun, the Nigeria Police Force has reaffirmed its dedication to the welfare of its officers and the enhancement of the country’s security infrastructure.

NPF Insurance Co. Ltd exemplifies the Force’s proactive measures in ensuring the safety and prosperity of its personnel and the public as critical stakeholders in national security.

Aside from the above prominent achievement, other achievements include crime reduction: Under his leadership, there was a significant reduction in crime rates in some parts of Nigeria. He implemented various strategies to combat criminal activities and improve the safety and security of the citizens.

Community Policing: IGP Egbetokun focused on community policing initiatives to enhance trust and cooperation between the police force and the communities they serve. This approach helps in preventing crime and maintaining peace.

Modernisation of the Police Force: He worked towards modernising the police force by introducing new technologies, equipment, and training programmes to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of law enforcement operations.

Welfare of Police Officers: IGP Egbetokun prioritised the welfare of police officers by advocating for better working conditions, training opportunities, and benefits for the personnel under his command.

Professionalism and Integrity: He emphasised the importance of professionalism and integrity within the police force, promoting accountability and ethical conduct among officers.

To address new security threats, IGP Egbetokun has also presented a progressive plan for 2025 that emphasizes technological innovation and contemporary policing techniques.

Overall, IGP Kayode Egbetokun’s two years in office have been marked by efforts to improve the effectiveness, efficiency, and public perception of the Nigerian Police Force.

This is the time our prophets should preach and work for the unity and stability of Nigeria, for the holy bible warns against false prophecies or prophets speaking out of their minds under the guise of prophesying.
