Iran’s Revolutionary Guards have threatened retaliation against the United States if further attacks are carried out after a recent American strike in the country’s south.

The Guards issued the warning on Thursday in a statement carried by the Sepah News website.

“If this action is repeated, the US military will face a firm response,” the statement said.

The threat follows a US strike targeting southern Iran, adding to escalating tensions between Tehran and Washington.
