2027: Obi Aguocha — The Giant Killer Will Kill The Giant Again -By Brown Justice

So the case of Chinedum Orji whose father drove the state economy into coma and handed the comatose situation to Okezie Ikpeazu who was about writing the obituary of the state before God in his infinite mercy brought Alex Otti to rescue the state in 2023 can not be different.

There is no doubt that active political activities preparatory for next year’s general elections have begun. Apart from the various campaign posters and banners, we can hear and see the campaign messages of politicians everywhere.

However, the area that is attracting much attention is the Ikwuano/Umuahia North/Umuahia South Federal Constituency of Abia State where the contest is a straightline battle between the candidate of the Labour Party, Hon. Obi Aguocha who is going for a re-election and the candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Mr. Chinedum Orji who is also a former Speaker of the Abia State House of Assembly and son of the former Governor of the state, Chief Theodore Orji.

While Obi Aguocha is still loved by his people because of his national active presence and the number of Federal Projects he is able to attract to them in the last four years, Chinedum Orji is alleged to have been trapped in the web of political horse trading between the Presidency and the state where the state will only deliver President Tinubu at the polls while the rest of the votes goes to Labour Party candidates in the state.

So the only weapon Mr. Chinedum Orji had wanted to deploy at the polls which is the Federal Might has been removed from him and the man is alleged to be handicapped now.

Apart from the removal of the Federal Might, Mr. Orji is alleged to have issues related to corrupt practices hanging around his neck and the EFCC has beemed it’s search light on him.

If all things goes as planned, Mr. Orji may not be available for the election next year because the EFCC have perfected plans to crackdown on all politicians having issues with the anti graft agency.

So in order not to be seen as fighting opposition figures alone, a source close to the EFCC Chairman says minority interests within the ruling All Progressives Congress like Chinedum Orji and others would be sacrificed so as to balance the equation in the scheme of things.

Nevertheless, in the history of Abia State politics, no one has ever lost power and regained it within a short period of time.

The only person who has regained power at the minimal level after many years of being in political desert before God gave him another chance in politics again is Orji Uzor Kalu.

Recall that before Kalu lost power, he was producing governors, senators house of reps members not only in Abia State but also in Imo and several other states in Nigeria.

So the case of Chinedum Orji whose father drove the state economy into coma and handed the comatose situation to Okezie Ikpeazu who was about writing the obituary of the state before God in his infinite mercy brought Alex Otti to rescue the state in 2023 can not be different.

If it took Orji Kalu who has goodwill, national name recognition and political structure some times to regain power, is it Chinedum Orji, one of the triumvirate who destroyed the state that will regain power easily.

I think no one can take Abia State let alone the Ikwuano/Umuahia North/Umuahia South Federal Constituency of the state back to Egypt again because it is now forward ever and backward never.

So from the analysis so far, it is undisputable that the giant killer will kill the giant again.
