US President Donald Trump declared on Tuesday that negotiations with Iran were no longer an option, despite Tehran’s reported interest in dialogue.

In a post on Truth Social, Trump wrote:

“Their air defense, Air Force, Navy, and Leadership is gone. They want to talk. I said ‘Too Late!’”

His remarks came two days after he had indicated he was open to discussions, during the ongoing joint Israeli-US bombardment of Iran.
