With the international break underway, attention shifts to a crucial mix of World Cup qualifiers and friendly matches, as several nations aim to secure their place at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

The final six tickets will be decided between March 26 and April 1. Europe will account for four of those spots via the UEFA play-offs, while two more will be determined through FIFA’s intercontinental playoff tournament in Mexico, featuring teams from across five confederations.

The qualification process will be decided through single-leg knockout games, with the intercontinental playoffs taking priority before Europe concludes its fixtures.

Intercontinental Play-offs

The tournament, set in Guadalajara and Monterrey, will feature Bolivia, DR Congo, Iraq, Jamaica, New Caledonia, and Suriname.
