‘Peter, Reach Out to Paul’: IPFLOA Founder Urges P-Square Brothers to End Feud

Ambassador Kingsley Atoe, founder of the Initiative for Peace, Forgiveness and Love for One Another (IPFLOA), has called on Peter and Paul Okoye, formerly of the music group P-Square, to forgive one another and reconcile.

In a message addressed to the two brothers, Atoe urged them to move beyond their quarrels, disagreements and bitterness and rebuild their relationship as brothers.

The appeal comes as public attention returns to the long-running dispute between the Okoye twins.

Peter and Paul reunited in 2021 following their earlier separation but had another disagreement in 2024. The latest fallout was linked to disputes over their music business and issues involving their elder brother, Jude Okoye.

Atoe asked the brothers to remember their years of growing up together, working side by side and developing the musical act that eventually became one of Nigeria’s most successful music brands.

He said P-Square’s success reflected the talent, determination and shared ambition of two brothers pursuing the same dream.

“Peter, reach out to Paul. Paul, reach out to Peter,” Atoe said, urging both musicians to place their relationship as brothers above their differences.

He also pointed to the influence the pair have had on millions of young people who followed their journey from humble beginnings to international fame.

According to him, their reconciliation could become an example to their fans and young people globally, demonstrating that conflicts can be overcome through forgiveness and love.

“Show them that forgiveness is greater than bitterness. Show them that love is stronger than disagreement. Show them that brothers can disagree, forgive, reconcile and come back even stronger,” he said.

Atoe appealed to the brothers to make reconciliation part of their lasting legacy, arguing that it could be more significant than their music, awards and other accomplishments.

“Let reconciliation become your new manager. Let forgiveness become your new song. Let peace become your greatest performance,” he said.

The latest appeal adds to recent efforts by people close to the family to encourage the brothers to settle their differences.

Their elder brother, Henry Okoye, recently questioned whether reconciliation was possible but still appealed to Paul to forgive Peter and called on the family to work towards restoring unity.

Atoe also prayed that God would heal the wounds between Peter and Paul, take away bitterness and restore their relationship.

He ended his appeal by asking the brothers to “come back together” and prove that brotherly love, forgiveness and peace can triumph over even serious disagreements.
