A member of the House of Representatives, Blessing Onuh, who is the daughter of David Mark, the National Chairman of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), has taken a prominent role in a campaign backing President Bola Ahmed Tinubu ahead of the next general election.

Onuh was named National Woman Leader of the Take Action Campaign Organisation, a group supporting Tinubu’s re-election, in an announcement made on Saturday by its Director General, Tony Nwulu.

Her appointment was formally presented at the organisation’s Abuja office.

“I pledge to work tirelessly to ensure President Tinubu’s victory at the upcoming election,” she said.

Onuh also stated that the campaign group aims to highlight the administration’s performance and inform citizens about its policies under the Renewed Hope Agenda.

“This organisation is focused on showcasing the various achievements and educating the Nigerian masses on the reforms and policies of Mr President,” she added.

Her alignment with a pro-Tinubu platform comes amid evolving political dynamics within the opposition, where her father plays a central role in coalition-building efforts involving figures such as Atiku Abubakar, Peter Obi, and other senior political actors preparing to challenge Tinubu in 2027.

The move also follows earlier political shifts, including the defection of Abba Abubakar, son of Atiku Abubakar, who joined the ruling APC and declared support for Tinubu’s re-election.
