Toke Makinwa has given fans their first public glimpse of her daughter, Yakira Eliana, as the little girl celebrated her first birthday.

The media personality shared a series of photographs of Yakira on social media on Friday, ending months of keeping the child’s identity largely away from public attention.

Celebrating her daughter’s first birthday, Makinwa described Yakira as the greatest blessing in her life and her long-awaited answered prayer.

“The best part of my story, finally yours to meet. Yakira Eliana. My precious answered prayer. My greatest love. My greatest blessing,” she wrote.

She also reflected on her faith and gratitude as she marked the special occasion.

“God can be trusted, God is real… Just like Hagar my mouth can testify that I have met ‘El-roi’, the God who sees me,” she wrote.

In another part of the post, Makinwa playfully introduced Yakira to her followers.

She affectionately called her daughter by several nicknames, including YaYa, Ya Pom Pom and Ya Mama.

The post generated an outpouring of reactions from fans and celebrities, who flooded the comment section with birthday wishes and compliments.

Among those who reacted was actress Adunni Ade, who wrote, “She is gorgeous. Happy Birthday mommy’s girl,” while another follower described Yakira as “a baby doll.”

After keeping details about her daughter private for the past year, Makinwa’s birthday tribute has now officially introduced Yakira to the public, giving admirers a first look at the child she calls one of her greatest blessings.
