Bayern Munich have rewritten Bundesliga history after scoring their 102nd goal of the season, breaking a 54-year-old record.

The landmark strike came from Leon Goretzka in the 53rd minute of their match against FC St. Pauli on Saturday.

The achievement eclipses the previous record of 101 goals set by Bayern in the 1971–72 season, a team that included icons Franz Beckenbauer, Gerd Müller, and Uli Hoeneß.
