Iran Says US Strikes in South Kill Eight Military Personnel

Eight members of Iran’s military were killed in US strikes on southern Iran, according to Iranian state television, which cited an official military statement.

Iranian state television has reported that eight members of the country’s military were killed following US strikes on southern Iran.

According to the broadcaster, which cited a statement from the military, the fatalities were recorded in the southern cities of Bandar Abbas and Bushehr after the latest attacks.

“Following the criminal aggression carried out this morning by the US terrorist army against areas in southern Iran, eight courageous members of the air and naval forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s military in Bandar Abbas (south) and Bushehr (southwest) fell as martyrs,” the statement said.
