Mr. Owoade, 60, who heads the Nomadic Basic School in Igbojaye, Itesiwaju Local Government Area, was reportedly kidnapped on Saturday, July 11, 2026, while returning from his farm.

His son, Abiola Owoade, said the gunmen intercepted his father on his way home before taking him to an unknown destination.
