‘Who Looks Like a Pig?’ — Fani-Kayode, Momodu in Bitter Online Feud

A war of words has erupted between former Aviation Minister Femi Fani-Kayode and media personality Dele Momodu, as both men exchanged sharp insults over political grievances.

The confrontation escalated on Thursday when Fani-Kayode took to Facebook to counter remarks allegedly made by Momodu. In his post, he labeled Momodu “a pimp” and “a sidekick” to former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, while also accusing him of having an inferiority complex and ridiculing his career trajectory, including his failed presidential run.

He wrote: “You called me a pig yet look at yourself in the mirror and tell me who looks more like a pig between you and I. Your profound ugliness, fat stomach, and lack of good breeding is your greatest torment. You were nothing, you are nothing, and you will never be anything but Atiku’s sidekick.”

Fani-Kayode also referenced President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s diplomatic visit to the United Kingdom, presenting it as proof of his continued influence in political circles.

In a swift response on X, Momodu fired back, calling Fani-Kayode a “classic case of a wasted investment” and an “outright and incurable thug.” He cited his elite background, including studies at Cambridge University, saying it had not curbed what he described as a tendency toward conflict and aggression.

Momodu said: “For Femi, it is a fulfillment of a long-expected appointment… Femi without power is like fish out of water. It is such a pity that now that Tinubu has finally looked at his side, with mercy and compassion, he is still busy fighting, like a pig, instead of seeking urgent rehabilitation into the comity of sane human beings.”

The exchange highlights ongoing tensions between the two public figures, whose rivalry continues to play out across social media platforms, with no signs of de-escalation as of Thursday.
