Pastor Kingsley Okonkwo Launches Christian Matchmaking Platform, by Faith Ogbotor
The platform’s launch comes amid growing interest in structured approaches to dating and marriage, particularly among people seeking relationships based on shared religious values.
Pastor and relationship coach, Kingsley Okonkwo, has launched a Christian matchmaking and marriage-preparation platform aimed at helping singles seeking intentional, faith-based relationships.
The platform, known as Mentor To Marry (MTM), combines relationship mentoring, assessments, accountability and matchmaking as part of its approach to preparing singles for marriage.
Mentor To Marry offers three annual membership packages: Regular at ₦70,000, Premium at ₦350,000 and VIP at ₦700,000.
The VIP package provides additional services, including access to a dedicated matchmaker and coach, priority access to the platform’s founders and off-platform introductions.
According to the platform, members begin with an eight-week mentoring programme, which includes assessments and guided preparation before progressing to the matchmaking stage.
The platform is targeted at Christians aged 25 and above who are seeking Christ-centred relationships and marriage. It is operated by Love, Dating and Marriage Ministries, a Nigerian non-profit organisation.
The launch has attracted public attention, particularly over the ₦700,000 annual VIP fee, with reactions ranging from criticism of the cost to support for the concept of structured relationship mentoring and matchmaking.
However, Mentor To Marry states that membership does not guarantee a match, relationship or marriage, stressing that relationship decisions remain the responsibility of the individuals involved.
