Arsenal’s teenage sensation Max Dowman has been awarded three official Guinness World Records certificates for his historic achievements in English and European football, all before his 17th birthday.
Guinness World Records confirmed the achievement on its official X account on Thursday, highlighting the youngster’s impressive breakthrough into Arsenal’s senior team.
“Three Guinness World Records titles before 17,” the organisation wrote.
“@Arsenal’s Max Dowman has been presented with three official Guinness World Records certificates following his record-breaking rise through English and European football.”
Dowman, who turns 17 in December, first made history as the youngest footballer to play in the UEFA Champions League. He achieved the milestone when he represented Arsenal against Slavia Prague at just 15 years and 308 days old.
He later entered the record books again by becoming the youngest goalscorer in the Premier League, scoring against Everton when he was 16 years and 73 days old.
His third achievement came when he became the youngest player to win the Premier League. Dowman was only 16 years and 144 days old when he collected his winner’s medal after Arsenal clinched the title.
The teenager featured 13 times for Arsenal’s senior side during the club’s landmark 2025-26 season, which ended with the Gunners winning their first Premier League title since 2004.
His historic strike against Everton attracted particular attention after he surged forward from his own half, dribbled past two players and scored into an empty goal, with goalkeeper Jordan Pickford having left his position to join a corner-kick attack.
Dowman has maintained his impressive form this season, netting twice in Arsenal’s 4-2 Carabao Cup win over Ipswich in September.
His growing reputation has also earned him a place in the Guinness World Records Football Edition 2027, which was released on Thursday. He was included in the publication’s “Class of ’27” feature.
