Boko Haram and Nigerian Soldier

Nigeria was one of the most peaceful countries after the coup incident during our late leaders regime but in this generation Nigeria have become a chaotic and disturbing place to live in. The poor citizens are voiceless nobody to hear their cries, they depend in farming to provide for their family yet there’s no peace, farmers fear going to farm for their safety.

Nigeria is facing numerous challenges which includes banditry, arm robbery, kidnapping and corruption, herdsmen and hunger problems. Banditry have now become part of the daily issues in our country Nigeria, look at the recent killings in katsina State, Benue State and other part of the country how unconscious bandits attacked at the time and location they want without any fear leaving the poor on streets without food and peace of mind.

Kidnapping in the order hand have now become a business in our country Nigeria affecting every part of the continent and everyone including adults and innocent children most especially religious leaders like priests and imams which have become the kidnapper’s source of income they kidnapped and demand huge amount of money mercilessly. Such issues are affecting the people of Nigeria both mentally, emotionally, physically, and spiritually.

Corruption is another big problem happening almost every corners of Nigeria. The government officials both in international and local levels practice injustice and take things that did not belongs to them without any fear of God. Nigeria is supposed to be the most faithful, God fearing and peaceful country as the country became the second most religious countries in the world according to Gallup international.

I was shocked on my way from kashere a community in Akko local government area of Gombe State to Bauchi State where a soldier stopped us at a checking point and asked the driver to give him money at first the driver refused but he forced him we did not leave that checkpoint until the driver gave him the money what about his salary? Are they not paying them? what a corrupt country. To all the international and local officials please fear God.

Herdsmen and hunger as the last mentioned challenges have become rampant in some of the villages most especially in farming season look at the recent incident that happened in Bogoro Local government area of Bauchi State where a man was beaten and killed by herdsmen who were squatting in the area. A famer will plant his crops and herdsmen with selfish intentions will come and rear their animals inside you talk, they kill you destroying plants and bringing hunger to communities which is unfair.

Way forward
Government officials should play their role urgently to eliminate arm robbery, kidnapping, banditry, corruption, herdsmen and hunger issues. We have strong soldiers who can sacrifice to stop the above problems I plead on the Nigerian chief of army staff lieutenant general Olufemi Oluyede to please send giant soldiers to every state with such problems.

Moreover to eliminate corruption in our country we must take everybody as our own with no ethnic or religious differences let’s love one another. At last farmers and herdsmen should practice love, unity and compassion within themselves for our country Nigeria to have a peaceful communities.
