Akpabio, a force for good, fighting for Nigerians – South-South leaders

South-South leaders on Thursday urged Nigerians not to work in the shadow of individuals and groups spreading lies.

They also heaped praise on the Senate President, Chief Godswill Akpabio for the tremendous work he is doing for Nigeria.

‘’Senator Akpabio is a gifted leader, a man of integrity and convi;ction ’’

The leaders in a statement in Port Harcourt advised Nigerians not to award certificates of merit to people working against the country’s ruling party.

‘’The move to discredit the leadership of the Senate by concocting lies will only damage the reputation of critics and expose their sinister intention to Nigerians’’

‘’We are proud of Akpabio’s problem solving skills’’

The leaders described a lawsuit by a Lagos based organization against Akpabio as a cheap, sleazy publicity stunt.

The statement lauded Akpabio for his courage, perseverance, generosity and a commitment to democratic values and a just society governed by law.

It highlighted integrity of purpose, exalted patriotism and charming manner of the Senate President.

The statement also underscored Akpabio’s loyalty, principles, strong leadership and deep knowledge of the legislative process.
