Akpabio Celebrates Tinubu at 74, Calls Him Transformational Leader; Barau Eyes Second Term

Senate President Godswill Akpabio has lauded President Bola Tinubu on his 74th birthday, describing him as a bold and visionary leader with the capacity to reset Nigeria.

In a goodwill message he signed personally, Akpabio commended Tinubu’s leadership style and dedication to national development.

“Your leadership, vision, and dedication to our great nation are truly inspiring… your passion for Nigeria’s progress is contagious,” he said.

He acknowledged that while economic reforms have been challenging, they are beginning to show positive results.

“You have demonstrated astute leadership… although the reforms came at a cost, there is certainly light at the end of the tunnel,” Akpabio noted.

He reaffirmed the commitment of the National Assembly to work closely with the President in advancing policies that will benefit Nigerians.

Also celebrating the milestone, Deputy Senate President Barau Jibrin expressed confidence in Tinubu’s political future, predicting a second-term victory.

“He is a visionary leader who has been working tirelessly… to reposition our country for the benefit of both present and future generations,” Jibrin said.

He added: “I have no doubt that by this time next year… he will be the President-Elect for his second term.”

Jibrin called on Nigerians to continue praying for and supporting the President, emphasizing that his administration is focused on national progress.

President Tinubu, who was born on March 29, 1952, marked his 74th birthday on Sunday, with tributes pouring in from political leaders across the country.
