The All Progressives Congress (APC) has refuted claims circulating online about the cost of its nomination and expression of interest forms for the 2027 elections.

Reacting in a statement on Saturday, the party’s spokesman, Felix Morka, said the report was fabricated and not issued by the party.

“The APC states categorically that the report is fake, and did not emanate from the Party,” he said.

He stressed that the party has not yet discussed or fixed prices for the forms.

“To be clear, no decision or announcement has been made on the sale or pricing of forms for the 2027 elections. The report is a mere figment of the writer’s mischievous imagination,” Morka stated.

The APC called on members of the public and the media to ignore the viral claims.

The circulating message had alleged that presidential forms would cost N200 million, while State Assembly forms would be priced at N20 million.

The issue of nomination form pricing previously drew attention in 2023, when the APC fixed its presidential form at N100 million, prompting widespread debate about affordability and access in Nigerian politics.
