Afrobeats superstar Asake has confirmed that his fourth studio album, M$NEY, will be released on May 1, 2026.

He announced the project via Instagram, posting a cryptic video that teased the album artwork with the caption: “M$NEY MAY 1 #MM.”

The announcement immediately generated buzz among fans, many of whom have been awaiting new material after his recent series of singles and collaborations.

The forthcoming album follows a strong streak of releases from Asake, including Why Love, Badman Gangster featuring Tiakola, and Worship, a collaboration with electronic music producer DJ Snake. Earlier in 2026, he also partnered with Wizkid on a joint project.

Asake remains one of the most influential voices in Nigerian music, with numerous awards and global recognition for his artistry.

He was nominated at the last Grammy Awards in the “Best African Music Performance” category but lost the award to Tems.

M$NEY will be his fourth album in a short span of years, following Mr Money With The Vibe (2022), Work of Art (2023), and Lungu Boy (2024).

As excitement builds, the project is already being tipped as one of the standout Nigerian releases of 2026.
