2027: Keyamo Kicks Off TV Campaign to Showcase Tinubu’s Aviation Achievements
Aviation Minister Festus Keyamo begins a television campaign for Tinubu’s 2027 re-election, showcasing achievements in the aviation sector from November 1.
Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, has commenced preparations for President Bola Tinubu’s 2027 re-election campaign with the introduction of a television programme designed to promote the administration’s achievements in the aviation industry.
The initiative, known as the ‘Tinubu Aviation Revolution Series’, will feature short television productions highlighting developments in the aviation sector under the Tinubu-led government.
Keyamo’s Special Adviser on Media and Communications, Tunde Moshood, disclosed this in a statement, describing the project as one of the minister’s earliest campaign communication initiatives since his appointment as Director of the Directorate of Air Transport Mobilisation under the All Progressives Congress Presidential Campaign Council (APC PCC).
The directorate is tasked with coordinating and facilitating air transportation for approved campaign activities in support of Tinubu’s second-term ambition.
According to the statement, Keyamo wasted no time in mobilising his team to produce a 30-second television campaign material aimed at presenting the administration’s aviation sector record to Nigerians.
The campaign material, which has reportedly been fully paid for, is scheduled to begin broadcasting on November 1, 2026, on major television stations across the country.
The television campaign will run until a few days before the presidential election.
Giving further details about the project, the statement explained that the series would provide viewers with a brief but engaging account of changes recorded in the aviation sector under the Tinubu administration.
It stated:
“The Tinubu Aviation Revolution Series is scripted to present a concise, compelling and accessible account of the aviation sector’s transformation under the Tinubu administration. Through the short-format television production, the campaign seeks to bring the government’s aviation record directly to the voting public, highlighting the sector’s progress and its contribution to national development.
“With aviation serving as a critical driver of economic growth, tourism, trade, investment and international connectivity, the series is intended to draw attention to the sector’s role in advancing the Renewed Hope Agenda and to encourage an informed public assessment of the administration’s performance.”
The statement further noted that the launch of the television series represents the commencement of a targeted campaign communication strategy as the APC positions itself for the 2027 general elections.
It added that the initiative would help draw public attention to the aviation industry’s contribution to economic growth, tourism, trade, investment and international connectivity.
The launch of the series signals Keyamo’s entry into a more active campaign role as the ruling party begins preparations to secure another presidential mandate for Tinubu in 2027.
