Osun Poll: Accord Wins Omisore’s Polling Unit, Beats APC by 46 Votes
Accord Party secured 131 votes to defeat APC, which polled 85, at Iyiola Omisore’s polling unit in Ife East LGA during the Osun governorship election.
The Accord Party has defeated the APC at the polling unit of former Osun Deputy Governor, Senator Iyiola Omisore, in the ongoing Osun State governorship election.
According to results uploaded on INEC’s Result Viewing Portal (IReV), Accord won 131 votes at Polling Unit 003, Ife Ward 1, Moore, St. Gabriel Primary School, in Ife East LGA.
The APC finished behind Accord with 85 votes, while the ADC secured 10 votes. Other parties received only a handful of votes.
Accord’s performance at Omisore’s polling unit marks another early gain for the party in the election.
The party had earlier emerged victorious at the polling unit of former Osun Governor, Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola, in Okuku, Odo-Otin LGA.
Accord polled 125 votes at the polling unit, ahead of the APC, which recorded 85 votes, while ADC secured 5 votes.
With INEC still uploading polling-unit results, collation is continuing across the state.
