Osun Poll: Adeleke Wins Ede Polling Unit With 421 Votes, Supporters Celebrate

Supporters of Osun State Governor and Accord Party governorship candidate, Ademola Adeleke, erupted in celebration after he won his polling unit in Saturday’s governorship election.

Adeleke polled 421 votes at Ward 02, Polling Unit 009, Abogunde Compound, Ede North Local Government Area.

The announcement of the result triggered jubilation among his supporters at the polling station, with party members celebrating the outcome as sorting and collation of results progressed.

The governor had earlier expressed confidence that he would retain his seat after casting his vote at the same polling unit.

Meanwhile, his leading challenger, All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate Bola Oyebamiji, also remained optimistic about his prospects after voting at Ward 09, Polling Unit 011, Ikire, in Irewole Local Government Area.
