Police operatives reportedly arrested the father of Prince Adeyemi Adeniyi on Monday at the family’s residence in Ogbomoso, Oyo State, amid ongoing investigations into alleged forgery and impersonation.

Residents told journalists that officers arrived at the residence in several vehicles and later took Adeyemi’s father, along with another man said to have been visiting the house, into custody.

The incident reportedly drew a crowd of residents and caused panic within the household, particularly affecting the suspect’s elderly mother.

One resident, who requested anonymity, alleged that the officers secured the premises before departing with the two men, while security operatives remained stationed in the area briefly after the operation.

Prince Adeyemi Adeniyi is currently facing trial over allegations of forgery, impersonation and other related offences tied to claims surrounding the purported Presidential Fiscal and Infrastructure Projects Council (PFIPC).
