In a world where accusations can spread like wildfire, and with many people with the aim to defame other people’s character, Nigeria media must be a factual carrier of information and report with objectives and balanced report. An individual like Prof. Idris M. Bugaje, the Executive Secretary of the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE), is one of the people that Nigeria has with clean hands. He is a reputable figure, an not curruptable personality of record and an excellent administrator that has worked with integrity and prudent.

Sahara Reporters story titled: EXCLUSIVE: “Fraud, Job Racketeering Scandal Rocks Nigeria’s Technical Education Board As Staff Accuse Bugaje Of Flouting Service Rules” on the 14th August, 2025 is a one sided story published by paid masters to only tarnished the personality of Professor Idris M. Bugaje is well known on record as an outstanding administrator that never has a record of corruption.

As the Executive Secretary of the NBTE, Prof. Bugaje has demonstrated a remarkable ability to drive positive change in the technical education sector. His tireless efforts to improve the quality of education and promote innovation have earned him the respect and admiration of his peers.

Under his watch, NBTE has implemented policies that have enhanced the standards of technical education in Nigeria. They are people who want to get more than theirs and only want to destroy the good foundation of the Board.

The criticisms are always one-sided and are only attacking good records of Professor Bugaje because they publishers of such stories lack good understanding of the Board’s activities and policies, meaning they are paid for such unlawful acts while violating the ethics and laws of journalism making grievous offences in the laws of Nigeria.
