APC Fixes Enugu Venue for South East Zonal Congress, Sets Nationwide Schedule

The APC has announced Enugu as venue for its South East zonal congress, alongside locations in Lagos, Asaba, Kaduna, Gombe, and Lafia.

The South East zone of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has designated the Multipurpose Hall of Hotel Presidential in Enugu as the venue for its upcoming zonal congress scheduled for Wednesday.

The confirmation comes after the party’s national leadership released its 2026 timetable for nationwide congresses without venue details.

In a formal notice to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), titled “Notices of Conduct of Zonal Congresses,” and signed by National Chairman Nentawe Yilwatda and National Secretary Surajudeen Bashiru, the Enugu location was officially communicated.

The party also listed venues across other geopolitical zones:

  • Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Lagos – South West
  • Dome Event Centre, Asaba – South South
  • Yar’Adua Multipurpose Conference Centre, Kaduna – North West
  • International Conference Centre, Gombe – North East
  • Aliyu Akwe Doma Conference Hall, Lafia – North Central

All zonal congresses are expected to commence simultaneously at 10:00 a.m.
