The National Youth Service Corps, National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), has urged prospective corps members in Osun State to be security conscious and adhere strictly to safety guidelines during the upcoming orientation exercise.

Osun State Coordinator, Mr Ita Kubiangha, made the appeal on Monday in a statement issued in Osogbo, encouraging participants to remain vigilant throughout the three-week programme.

He also advised corps members to behave responsibly as they begin their national service journey.

Kubiangha further appealed to parents, guardians, and members of the public to support corps members during the orientation period, describing it as a crucial phase of national service.

He noted that the orientation course is designed to provide training in paramilitary drills, leadership development, and other structured activities aimed at promoting unity, discipline, and self-reliance.
