The founder of Living Faith Church Worldwide, Bishop David Oyedepo, has urged eligible Nigerians to obtain their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) ahead of the 2027 general elections, describing participation in the electoral process as both a civic responsibility and a constitutional right.

Speaking during a Sunday service at Faith Tabernacle, Canaanland, Ota, Ogun State, the cleric encouraged worshippers not to remain indifferent to issues affecting the nation’s leadership but to take advantage of the opportunity to choose those who govern the country through the ballot.

Oyedepo stressed that securing a PVC is an important step towards participating in the democratic process, noting that citizens have the right to determine who leads them through their votes.

“We have a right to determine who governs us,” he told the congregation, urging members to ensure they register and obtain their voter cards before the next general elections.

The bishop also encouraged Christians to combine their faith with responsible civic engagement, saying active participation in nation-building should not be neglected.
