Suspect in Trump Gala Shooting to Face Court Monday

The suspect who exchanged gunfire with Secret Service agents at a Trump event faces arraignment Monday in Washington on serious federal charges.

A man accused of carrying out a shooting at a Washington media gala attended by former U.S. President Donald Trump is scheduled to be arraigned on Monday, federal authorities said.

The suspect allegedly exchanged gunfire with Secret Service agents during the incident but was not injured. He is expected to appear before a U.S. district judge in the capital.

U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirro stated that the suspect will face charges including using a firearm during a crime of violence and assaulting a federal officer with a dangerous weapon.
