15 Arrested by EFCC for Alleged Radioactive Mineral Trafficking in Kaduna

EFCC operatives nab 15 men in Kaduna suspected of trafficking radioactive solid minerals. The suspects are undergoing further investigation before being charged in court.

Operatives of the Kaduna Zonal Directorate of the EFCC have arrested 15 men suspected of illegally dealing in radioactive solid minerals, the commission confirmed on Tuesday.

According to EFCC spokesperson Dele Oyewale, the suspects were caught on Sunday along Suleja-Maji Road in Niger State while transporting the minerals in three trucks to various destinations across Nigeria.

The suspects are now undergoing further investigations at the EFCC’s Kaduna office, with plans to charge them in court soon, Oyewale said.
