Bola Tinubu Heads to France, Kenya, Rwanda on Official Trip
Tinubu embarks on a diplomatic trip to France, Kenya and Rwanda to deepen economic ties and attract investment.
Bola Tinubu has begun a three-nation diplomatic tour, departing Abuja for France on Sunday.
The president left from the Presidential Wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport as part of a broader trip that will include visits to Kenya and Rwanda.
From France, Tinubu will proceed to Nairobi to participate in the Africa–France Summit scheduled for May 11–12.
The summit, to be co-hosted by Emmanuel Macron and William Ruto, will address key issues including climate change, energy transition, digital innovation, and economic cooperation.
Focus on Investment and Growth
The president will then travel to Kigali for the Africa CEO Forum from May 14–15.
The forum will convene global investors, business leaders, and policymakers to explore strategies for economic growth and investment across the continent.
According to the presidency, the trip underscores Nigeria’s commitment to expanding economic partnerships and attracting foreign investment through strategic global engagements.
