Nollywood actor Charles Okocha rejects Portable’s biting allegation after winning their celebrity boxing rematch in Lagos by disqualification.

Nollywood actor Charles Okocha has refuted allegations by singer Portable that he bit him during their celebrity boxing rematch, saying the claim is unfounded and urging the singer to move on from his defeat.

Speaking on TVC Entertainment on Tuesday, Okocha explained that he wore a protective mouth guard throughout the fight, making it impossible for him to bite his opponent.

“Portable has been going around telling people I bit him on the back. I was wearing a mouth guard; how is that even possible? He was just lying,” he said.

The actor added:

“I would rather chew grass than bite him. I don’t want to catch rabies. Have you seen how Portable’s skin looks? Hell no, I wouldn’t do that. He should just accept defeat.”

The celebrity rematch took place on Friday at the Balmoral Convention Centre in Lagos, where Okocha emerged victorious after Portable was disqualified for breaching the rules.

According to the organisers, Portable abandoned the wrestling techniques allowed in the contest and began throwing punches, resulting in his disqualification before he later walked out of the ring.

After the bout, Portable alleged that Okocha bit him on the back and locked his neck during the fight.

Okocha, however, rejected the accusation and insisted the singer should accept the result of the contest rather than continue making allegations about the match.
